How To Customize YouTube Feed: Many times after opening YouTube, despite countless videos being available, it seems that there is nothing worth watching on it. This happens more often when YouTube’s algorithm does not suggest videos of your choice. For this reason, I don’t feel like tapping on any video that comes on the feed. However, now there is hope of getting relief from this problem soon. Google has announced a new feature for YouTube, which will give users the option to customize their YouTube feed. Let us know how this feature will work.
How will the new feature work?
This feature has been named ‘Your Custom Feed’. On giving a prompt, YouTube will generate a video feed based on the user’s request. This feed will be visible to the user on the home page of YouTube. Currently this feature is being rolled out and it has started from America. If it has not come on your feed yet, you may have to wait for a while. It is believed that it will be rolled out for all users in the next few weeks.
How to watch only the videos you like on YouTube?
This new feature will work with the help of AI. In this, the user will have to enter a prompt with a specific or broad idea. Google will also help the user in this. To enable this feature, you have to select Custom Your Feed visible at the top of the YouTube home page. After this you will see suggested prompts. If you want, you can also use the prompt of your choice in this. After this, based on that prompt, YouTube will start showing the video in your feed. If you don’t like the video, you will be able to get a custom feed generated by giving a prompt again.
Identification of AI generated content will be easy
Along with this feature, YouTube is expanding one of its already existing features. In view of the flood of AI content on the platform, YouTube has said that it will label videos containing AI generated content. For certain content, this label will be permanent and cannot be removed. Earlier creators had the option to label AI content. Now if the creator does not put a label then YouTube’s internal system will do this work.
