Alarm bells are about to ring for Apple. The company’s former CEO John Sculley warned that after decades, now a company has arrived to compete with Apple. Addressing a conference, John said that Apple is not doing much work in Artificial Intelligence and OpenAI is far ahead in this. He said that after decades, OpenAI is going to be the real competitor of Apple. Let us tell you that OpenAI came into limelight after the launch of its ChatGPT chatbot.
John gave this advice to Apple
John was the CEO of Apple from 1983 to 1993. While advising Apple, he said that now the tech giant will have to move from the era of apps to the era of agentinc, where smart AI agents can complete many tasks without the need of separate apps. He said that Apple has lagged behind companies like OpenAI, Google, Meta and Amazon in terms of AI innovation and fast updating of products. The inability to revamp Siri till now is an indication of this.

John said that whoever becomes the new CEO of Apple after Tim Cook, he should first focus on AI. It will require Apple to transition from apps to AI agents. Let us tell you that Tim Cook has not yet made an official announcement of leaving his post, but it is believed that he may leave his post soon.
