Often companies advertise their TVs as 4K, but just having the screen resolution 4K is not enough. For a true 4K experience, the processor, panel quality and other hardware inside the TV must be at the same level that can process high-resolution content properly. If the supporting technology is weak then there is not much difference visible in the picture despite playing 4K content.
