A similar case has come to light in America, where a child got electrocuted from a mobile charger. This accident was so terrible that the skin of the child’s neck and chest got badly burnt and he had to be taken to the hospital. How did the accident happen?
According to reports, this incident happened in America, where a mobile charger was stuck in the extension cord in a house. This charger was not installed properly and there was a gap between it and the cord. The chain around the neck of an 8-year-old child playing next to it got stuck in this gap. This gave him a strong shock. To avoid this, he pulled the chain hard, broke it from his neck and threw it away. Due to this, his life was almost saved from electrocution. Immediately after this incident, his family members took him to the hospital and got him treated.
Always take these precautions
- Do not keep the charger plugged in while sleeping. Touching any metal during sleep can result in electric shock. Therefore, if there is a charger plugged in near your bed, then remove it and sleep only.
- Keep children away from power plugs. Many times people ask children to charge their mobile, but this can be dangerous. Therefore always keep children away from the plug.
- If your charger is old and its cable is cut, then stop using it. This may cause electric shock. Similarly, if a charger is not fitting in the plug then do not try to force it to fit. It would be better to charge the phone from another plug.
