Microsoft AI Chief: Artificial Intelligence is no longer limited to just offices, factories or machines. It is increasingly becoming deeply embedded in our everyday lives. Microsoft AI CEO and renowned AI expert Mustafa Suleyman believes that in the coming five years, every person will have his own personal AI companion who will understand him very closely.
AI will understand the user like a human
In a video shared on social media platform It will understand the user’s preferences, habits and thinking. He says that this AI will see only what the user sees, hear only what the user hears and will understand the situation from the same perspective.
According to him, this AI will feel like a friend or assistant who is always there to help in major decisions and challenges of life.
Mixed reactions received on social media
After this statement of Suleyman, a debate broke out on social media. Some people called this idea a future revolution while others called it an exaggerated claim. One user said that he does not want an AI that is bound by limitations, but a system that can express its views openly. At the same time, some people believe that if it takes five years then the pace of progress is very slow. For many users, this change seems to be coming even earlier.
Suleyman’s experience related to Pi chatbot
Before Microsoft, Mustafa Suleyman co-founded Inflection AI, where he created a unique AI chatbot named Pi. Pi was introduced as an emotionally intelligent AI, whose purpose was to interact with users naturally and provide them with emotional support. It was different from other AI tools like ChatGPT because it focused more on human interaction than technical answers. Pi had acquired millions of daily active users in a short time, although in 2024, a large part of its team joined Microsoft.
Suleyman’s vision is human-centric AI
Suleyman has long been advocating an AI that works in the interest of humans. His thinking is that the super-advanced AI technology created in the future should be completely in accordance with human values. He believes that before giving freedom to AI, it is very important to set proper limits and controls on it so that it can become a reliable companion of humans.
