Big step towards digital self -sufficiency

BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A.K. Robert Ravi said that this launch will give a new direction to India’s telecom capabilities. Meanwhile, a one -year agreement was signed with the Department of Posts, under which 1.65 lakh post offices across the country will now be able to sell SIM and recharge services of BSNL.

Apart from this, BSNL had earlier started the ESIM service in Tamil Nadu, which has now been made available at the national level. In the same year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a completely indigenous 4G network of BSNL from Jharsuguda in Odisha, in which about 97,500 new mobile towers were established with domestic technology.

Customers will get more benefit

With ESIM technology, BSNL users will now get more flexibility, security and international roaming. This launch is a large milestone for BSNL that will make it more competitive than private telecom companies and will strengthen its grip in the digital age.
