iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max users are troubled by a strange problem these days. Actually, during charging, noise keeps coming from the speakers of both the phones. Discussion regarding this is going on on many platforms including Apple’s support community, where affected users are sharing their experiences. They say that as soon as the phone is put on charging, it starts making static noise like an old radio. Apple has also been informed about this problem and the company’s response is awaited.
Users got upset
Users reported that apart from charging, strange noises are also heard while playing audio and reducing the volume on these iPhones. Many users say that even when nothing is being played on the phone’s speaker, this noise keeps coming. Many users complain that even when the phone is not charging, some noise keeps coming from its speaker. Apart from charging with cable, even if the phone is charged with MagSafe charger, this noise is not stopping.
What is Apple doing about this?
An October post on the Apple Community Forum states that Apple has been informed about this. Then a senior support engineer of the company advised the users to run a full hardware diagnostic, but the users say that even this did not solve the problem. Then they were advised to wait for the next update or get the phone replaced. Apple has released iOS 26.2 since October, but this issue was not addressed in it. Now at the end of this month the company is going to launch iOS 26.3, in which users can get rid of this problem.
