Nubia M153: China has again shocked the tech world. This time a smartphone has been introduced which is not just a phone but a complete digital agent working for you. It not only listens and understands what you say, but also opens apps, makes payments, books hotels and even talks to other robots when needed. This is the world’s first fully agentic AI smartphone named Nubia M153. It has been created jointly by ZTE and ByteDance (parent company of TikTok).
How does this phone do all your work?
According to reports, ByteDance’s Doubao AI is deeply integrated into the entire system in this phone. This is no ordinary voice assistant, it can see your screen, open apps, type, click and can even complete long tasks on its own. You just say, “I want a hotel” or “I want a drink,” and the phone will decide which app to open and how to get the job done.
“I have to put someone on the line at the hospital,” tech analyst Taylor Ogan said over the phone, a video showed. The phone itself opened the correct app, filled in the location, entered the price and was done without the user knowing which app was running.
Calling a robot taxi has become easier
He said, “I want a robot taxi.” The phone checked their location, opened the app of the right company and booked the taxi. Later, when he said, “Change the drop location,” the phone itself changed the location in the app and also sent a notification to the driver.
There are two AI brains in the phone!
Nubia M153 runs on two types of AI:
Doubao AI, which thinks and decides what to do. Nebula-GUI, which handles clicking, typing, and app control on the screen. This not only improves privacy but also gets the work done faster. It has a new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 16GB RAM which makes it even more powerful. This phone is really going to change the direction of the future of smartphones and that is why it can become a big headache for both Samsung and Apple.
How are the features?
Nubia M153 has been introduced by the company as a special limited edition model. This smartphone has a 6.78 inch LTPO AMOLED panel, which gives a better visual experience with a smooth refresh rate of 144Hz. There is a setup of three cameras in its rear which includes a 50-megapixel primary lens. Along with this, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS support has been provided which provides 2.5X optical zoom. The third camera is also of 50 megapixels which is used for wide-angle shooting. On the front side, a 50-megapixel high-resolution camera is also provided for selfie and video calling.
For performance, it is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 16GB RAM which can easily handle heavy gaming and multitasking. For power backup, the phone has a large 6000mAh battery which supports 90W fast charging. Apart from this, the facility of 15W wireless charging makes it even more premium.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will get competition
This new phone will give tough competition to Samsung’s latest flagship. Talking about the features of this Samsung phone, it has a 6.9 inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen which supports 120Hz refresh rate. It has Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is paired with 12GB RAM.
This phone was launched with a tremendous camera setup for photos and videos. Its rear has a 200MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, 50MP telephoto sensor and 10MP additional 3x telephoto lens. A 12MP sensor is provided in its front. This phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
