Vivo X200T Vs Oppo Reno 15 Pro: Vivo is preparing to launch its new smartphone Vivo X200T in India soon, whose focus will be especially on camera loving users. The company has not yet revealed its launch date, but from the leaked price and features it is clear that it will give a direct competition to the recently launched Oppo Reno 15 Pro. According to leaks, the starting price of Vivo X200T in India can be around Rs 59,999. Whereas Oppo Reno 15 Pro starts at Rs 67,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. That is, in terms of price, Vivo’s phone can prove to be cheaper by about 8 thousand rupees.
Who is ahead in the display?
Vivo On the other hand, Oppo Reno 15 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED LTPO panel, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3600 nits. In terms of display, Reno 15 Pro gives a brighter and slightly larger experience.
Processor and performance
Talking about performance, Vivo X200T is likely to get flagship level MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It will come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which is considered quite powerful for heavy gaming and multitasking.
Whereas Oppo Reno 15 Pro has Dimensity 8450 processor. It’s fine for everyday use, but lags behind the Dimensity 9400+ in terms of raw power.
Who has the upper hand in the camera?
Oppo Reno 15 Pro has a triple rear camera setup in which a 200MP primary camera is provided with OIS. Apart from this, there is also a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The phone has a 50MP front camera for selfies.
Vivo X200T is expected to have triple camera setup with ZEISS branding. It may have a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto lens and 50MP ultra-wide camera. However, the selfie camera is said to be 32MP which can be considered a little weaker than Reno 15 Pro.
Battery and charging speed
Oppo Reno 15 Pro has a large 6,500mAh battery which supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the other hand, Vivo X200T is likely to have a 6,200mAh battery but it can support 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Vivo seems to be slightly ahead in terms of charging speed.
Software and User Experience
Both smartphones will come with software based on Android 16. ColorOS 16 will be available in Oppo Reno 15 Pro, while the new OriginOS 6 can be seen in Vivo X200T. Both UIs have their own advantages and disadvantages, but ColorOS 16 currently appears to be slightly ahead in terms of features.
